About
Hi, I’m Ahmad 👋
I’m a backend developer from Surakarta, Indonesia.
Currently, I’m an undergraduate student at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta.
My Journey
I started learning programming in 2023 when I was still in 11th grade of high school. At that time, I began exploring programming on my own, learning from online resources, documentation, and trial-and-error. What started as simple curiosity gradually turned into a strong interest in how software actually works behind the scenes. As I continued learning, I became more focused on backend development. I enjoy understanding how systems are designed, how APIs communicate, and how data flows within an application. The process of solving problems and building something functional from scratch is what keeps me motivated. My journey has been mostly self-taught, which means I’ve spent a lot of time experimenting, making mistakes, and learning from them. That experience helped me become more independent and comfortable with figuring things out on my own. Now, as a university student, I continue to deepen my knowledge in software engineering.
My Setup
I’m also a Linux user and have been using it daily since I started college in 2025. I enjoy customizing my development environment and experimenting with different setups to improve my workflow.

Why This Blog Exists
This blog is where I share what I learn about backend engineering, DevOps, and my journey as a developer. I believe writing helps me learn better, and hopefully it can help others too.
